My name is Sheryl, I am a yarn maker who loves wool and the animals who grow it for us.

Spun Fleece is my art as expressed through the making of yarn.

I spin to create art that tells a story.

Because I also practice many forms of fiber art, I understand the importance of certain technical aspects of yarn making. I spin yarn that can be used in a variety of creative endeavors; in addition to knitting, crochet, weaving, punch needle, and needle point, my art yarn can be used for mixed media art, art-journaling, fiber art sculpture, book arts, and sometimes it is beautiful artfully arranged in a bowl or platter.
